Carlton Ware Art Deco Style Noire Royale Cream Jug/Pitcher and Sugar Bowl

An unusual Carlton Ware Noire Royale cream and sugar set. Both pieces are gilded on the inside with a lustrous gold. The set is a matte black, beautifully trimmed in gold. The set is in excellent showing no wear to the gold trim, but there are a couple tiny pin-prick size scratches to the matte surface of the jug, and a bit of wear to the spout. Despite the minor flaws, this unusual set would make the ideal addition to your Carltonware collection. The pitcher measures 3 1/4" high, while the sugar bowl is 3 3/4" diameter, and 2 ½" high. Both pieces have the backstamp "Carlton Ware Made in England Trademark".
